Back in the States....For Goodzies!!!

Well kittens, London didn't present any job opportunities and so I'm back in the states once again! And I couldn't be happier! I loved coming home to my sewing machine! The following are some vintage patterns that I snagged before I left and didn't have the time to post! Can't wait to get started on them! Most of these came from the Habitat For Humanity thrift store at $.25 a piece. And a few came from a friend who was cleaning out his parents' shed and found some great goodies for me!

Too cute! I don't know if I've told you lot, but I'm going to be an Auntie in April! That little girl is gonna be spoiled rotten! Can't wait to make her a dress from this pattern....and of course a matching dress for her doll! Fun!!!

I LOVE this coat pattern!

The set on the far left reminds me of the one Sharon Tate wears in Valley of the Dolls when she goes to visit Neely and cools her toes in the pool! Love it!

Click to enlarge the pattern on the right and check out Paris Hilton in the back!

I don't know who this Kathy Gray person is/was, but she sure must have been a stylish little chicken!!

Since I've been back, I've not had time to do much thrifting, but I did find a lovely little early '60s flutter hat for $2.50 and the best vintage pattern making book EVER from 1954, for $4! Not a bad little haul!

Stay tuned for some totally terrific vintage book posts in the next few days!

Toodle pip!!

  1. These are great! And spot on about the Sharon Tate outfit. I want all of 'em. Which one are you going to whip up first?

  2. Not sure. I'm kind of leaning toward 7236 or 7239. I've gone through all my patterns this weekend and took an inventory of them all. Found loads that I'd forgotten I had and now I want to make them all right away! Watch this space! xD

  3. I just gave you Liebster Award on my blog :)

  4. I just found your blog and oh my gosh it's lovely! I especially love this post, the patterns all look amazing! I have reciently started sewing and i love the 60s style, so your blog is perfect!
